This week in the Voice, out today: Camille Dodero’s cover story tells the wild tale of Wheelchair Sports Camp, a hip-hop trio (or as they call it, “krip-hop”) from Colorado who raised money through Kickstarter to come play CMJ. Wheelchair Sports Camp’s frontwoman, Kalyn Heffernan, is a disabled, queer supporter of Occupy Wall Street. Kalyn is hilarious, rapped onstage with Obie Trice, and loves weed. Read this.
