“The dilemma is, you think I got no conscience,” Wale raps on “600 Benz,” his first single with Maybach Music Group bawse Rick Ross, the man who earlier in the song told Wale that if he keeps on working, then shawty, he’ll be rich forever. On the upcoming Ambition, Wale, between the luxury car bangers, goes about proving that, yes, he does have that conscience—or at least that he really wants you think that he has that conscience—apparently not realizing that the real dilemma is how few of his tracks go as hard as “600 Benz.” The good news: he might have just enough for an entertaining set.
