Say what you will of Henrik Ibsen, but he wasn’t a particularly jokey playwright. Yet that hasn’t stopped playwrights James Presson from updating Hedda Gabler into a comedy. Presson’s scenario concerns an unstable starlet enduring her fourth season on a hit sitcom.
