How many people have won TV singing contests since Kelly Clarkson bested Justin Guarini in the first season of American Idol? And how few have even approached her levels of commercial and artistic success? Carrie Underwood comes close, followed by Jordin Sparks and X Factor champ Leona Lewis, but even before Clarkson released Stronger, with singles “Mr. Know It All” and “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You),” in late 2011, she was blowing away the competition just as she has been since 2003’s “Miss Independent.” Tonight, she plays Radio City Music Hall and offers more from her newest alongside old hits such as “I Do Not Hook Up” and “Since U Been Gone.”
