Reggie Allen is no criminal mastermind.
Cops say that 34-year-old Allen brought two loaded firearms — including a Tec-9 semi-automatic pistol and a .45 caliber semi-automatic handgun — into a crowded Times Square subway station on New Year’s Day.
Allen, who’s said to have planned on selling them, got caught with the weapons because he walked through a subway exit gate, cops say.
Then, he supposedly told cops that he jumped the proverbial turnstile because he couldn’t figure out how to buy a MetroCard. (Hence his Post nickname, “MetroDunce.”)
Anyway, Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance has slammed the South Carolina native with weapons possessions charges, announcing Allen’s indictment today.
Allen has a “Me Against the World” neck tat, according to the Post, and was on the lam for coke possession charges when he was nabbed.
