What’s Happening This Week: Butcher Lessons, Coffee & Tea Festival

On February 23, the American Institute of Wine and Food is hosting a wine-paired dinner benefit with a Calabrian theme at Alloro restaurant. The event starts at 7:30 p.m., and tickets are $150 per person.

Learn all about tapas at Bouley Test Kitchen with Spanish chef Roger Martinez, who trained with Ferran Adrià at elBulli. The class starts at 6 p.m. on February 23 and costs $175 per person.

The Coffee & Tea Festival is happening this weekend, from February 25 to 26, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. See demonstrations on brewing and learn about the origins and types of tea and coffee at 7 W.

Red Rooster is celebrating Black History Month with a series of jazz concerts, which will be held February 22 at 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. and February 26 at 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door.
