The Kelvin slushy truck just after it began operation in 2010
Fork in the Road is pleased to announce that tickets for Choice Eats are entirely sold out, both VIP and normal-admission tickets. Next year, get them earlier! But the cloud has a silver lining: Tickets for the Voice‘s first annual Choice Streets festival — featuring a gaggle of excellent food-vending trucks — go on sale today.
The event will take place Tuesday, April 24, from 7 till 10 p.m. at the Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum complex (rain date: Wednesday, April 25). Tickets will be $30 for general admission and $40 for VIP tickets. More than 20 of today’s most popular food-vending trucks are promised, all serving generous samples of their products. Beverages and entertainment on the pier will also be provided.
The first round of participants has also been announced: Cinnamon Snail, Coolhaus, Green Pirate Juice, Kelvin Natural Slush Co., Korilla BBQ, Mexicue, Red Hook Lobster Pound, Schnitzel & Things, Souvlaki GR, Taim Mobile, and Wafels & Dinges.
