“You don’t have anything sharp on you that I can stick myself with, do you?” asks Channing Tatum of an unsuspecting bachelorette in Magic Mike, the upcoming male-stripper film by Steven Soderbergh.
“No,” she replies.
“Good, ” says Channing, as he prepares to shed his policeman outfit. “Because I do!”
Ouch! In a good way!
Tatum plays a disrober–in the film based on his own days in that profession–and freely explains what he gets out of being a stripper:
“Women, money, and a good time.”
Hey, I should try it. I love money and a good time.
