Taste of the Nation 2012: Celebrity Chefs + Ending Childhood Hunger


It’s not often you can eat from New York City’s top restaurants and help alleviate poverty in the city–at the same time.

Taste of the Nation NYC takes place on Monday, and the star-studded event will feature gourmet fare by top chefs from restaurants such as Ai Fiori and Gramercy Tavern. Hosted by Share Our Strength, a nonprofit organization that combats childhood hunger, all proceeds will support the organization’s efforts to end childhood hunger.

Notable celebrities include Amanda Hesser, Sandra Lee, Ai Fiori’s Eben Freeman, North End Grill’s Floyd Cardoz, and Porchetta’s Sara Jenkins.

General admission is $225, and VIP tickets are going for $420.
