Vegan Kung Pao Chicken by Vegetarian Plus
OK, Year of the Takeout ate some fresh carryout earlier, but it’s not worth writing about, so we proceed to a frozen feature–the faux poultry pictured above.
Overall, Plus’s pick–available at some area supermarkets–ain’t bad. The sauce is a little on the sweet side, but the meat-free protein satisfies adequately, though it doesn’t taste much like its namesake bird.
