I’ve long thought of Edvard Munch‘s harrowing “The Scream” as his Home Alone painting.
But Munch apparently liked it–so much that he made four of them!
And someone else adores it too.
One of the four “Screams” just sold for practically $120 million, which is way more than I’ve ever spent on art in my life–especially since Woolworth’s closed and I don’t buy any anymore.
Congrats to the lucky “Scream” owner, but here are some paintings that I feel are even more valuable, for those in the market for extremely good taste, not just overpriced kitsch.
