Last night, the James Beard Foundation’s winner’s list was completed–the media awards were over the weekend and listed here yesterday. In addition to major excitement over the first ever Outstanding Bar Program award other highlights included a tie for Best Chef Southeast (a hot dining destination region this year) between the formerly uni-browed Top Chef Masters contestant Hugh Acheson and Restaurant Eugene’s Linton Hopkins. Michael Anthony of Gramercy Tavern took home the home turf gold. Congratulations to all of the winners!
