Gary Lucas+Frank London’s Kali Krewe+Institutional Prostitution


A monster guitarist who diverts Delta blues down countless acoustic and electric capillaries, Lucas leads a taut group joined tonight by French chanteuse Béatrice Demi-Mondaine. Tabla player Deep Singh adds a Hindi tinge to Frank London’s Kali Krew, which also includes keyboardist Anthony Coleman and guitarist Brandon Seabrook. On Rococo Baroque, Montreal’s Institutional Prostitution combine feminist theory with brutalist electronic practice.
