Simon Cowell’s operatic boy band is best at its most camp, which on last year’s Wicked Game meant shamelessly over-the-top renditions of “Don’t Cry for Me Argentina,” “Come What May” (from Moulin Rouge!), and the Chris Isaak classic that provided the album with its title. If you’ve always thought the last of those could never be ruined, you’re right, but that doesn’t mean it couldn’t be utterly de-sexed.
