It’ll be in a stage version of Coal Miner’s Daughter that’s heading to Broadway (hopefully with a stop at Butcher Holler).
Loretta Lynn made the announcement herself, and she’s thrilled about it, ka-ching, ka-ching.
Besides, it does happen to be an arguable choice:
Zooey Deschanel from The New Girl.
She’s cute, she can sing, and she can holler.
What’s more, she can sell tickets.
Yee-ha!
But eventually every movie we’ve ever seen will come back as a stage musical (especially if the movie is based on a book.)
And then they can make them into movies again!
