French Institute Alliance Francaise (FIAF) is holding “the Flavor Lab” with flavorist Marie Wright on Tuesday at 7 p.m. Wright will take attendees behind the scenes to sample the artistry of cheese flavors.
This entire week, your lunch can go toward helping feed 37 children. City Harvest’s Skip Lunch, Fight Hunger campaign begins on the 14th, and individuals can pledge to skip lunch and donate the money they would’ve spent on food to help fight hunger in the city.
The Great GoogaMooga Festival will take place over weekend. General tickets are already sold out, but extra tickets, which go for $249 each, are still available for purchase. The Brooklyn food festival has an impressive lineup of around 75 food vendors, 35 brewers, 30 winemakers, and 20 live-music performances.
On Friday, Zipcar will be giving away free coffee at their various NYC coffee vendors throughout the city. Each cup will have an offer for $75 in driving credit to new members and participating carts will be marked by green balloons and a brand ambassador. A map of the vendors can be viewed here.
