Tamarind Eggplant from UGH.
We paid some $9 for a disappointing dish. There’s more rice than eggplant, and the veg isn’t all that great as is. As per Year of the Takeout’s policy, we don’t name eateries just to shit on them, but if this place winds up serving awful cuisine a third time, we’re going to have to out this East Village fusion joint. (On second thought, maybe we’ll just ignore it and move on?)
