As you know, Scientologist Will Smith was greeting the press at the Moscow premiere of the esteemed Men In Black III the other day when he was approached by a male reporter who double kissed the star on the cheek, which is apparently the guy’s shtick.
At first, Will smilingly went along with it and seemed happy–I guess that’s his natural impulse about such things.
But then he became outraged.
“What the hell is your problem, man?” he said after he shoved the guy away, then slapped him on the face, looking disgusted.
Oh, sorry, Miss Thing!
“He’s lucky I didn’t sucker punch him,” Will joked afterwards. Ha ha. Same-sex violence is so hilarious.
Worse is the USA Today reaction: “Um, can you blame him?”
By the way, let’s not forget that Will’s the one who refused to kiss a man in the movie of Six Degrees of Separation back in 1993, on the advice of Denzel Washington.
When I got wind of that at the time, I informed the publicist that I was rescinding my request to interview Will.
I bet he wouldn’t have talked to an out gay anyway.
