Pork Buns from Snacky (187 Grand Street, 718-486-4848)
OK, so a friend and I ordered the pork buns and got these — which appear to be dumplings. Whatever the case, they’re good — but not as good as the daikon cake.
That app is starchy, greasy, and slightly toasty, and on par with the turnip slices at the city’s best dim sum dens.
