To help prepare you for the summer heat, powerHouse Arena is hosting the book-launch party for People’s Pops: 55 Recipes for Ice Pops, Shave Ice, and Boozy Pops From Brooklyn’s Coolest Pop Shop. The book, co-written by People’s Pops founders Nathalie Jordi, David Carrell, and Joel Horowitz, is chock-full of ways to re-create their inventive lip-smacking frozen treats (Peach & Bourbon and Cantaloupe & Tarragon are popular flavors) that don’t require fancy popsicle molds or even much cooking skill. Tonight, they’ll be serving up their “boozy pops” to all who attend.
