Bertolt Brecht called for a theater that would have the same excitement as a boxing ring. JACK, a new space in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, will attempt to supply it. Alec Duffy, artistic director of Obie-winning theater company Hoi Polloi, stages Brecht’s first play about a dissolute poet who wanders the countryside whoring and killing. Seven actors play 30 roles.
Thursdays-Sundays, 8 p.m. Starts: July 12. Continues through Aug. 5, 2012
