Homages dot the landscape, and highlights include a celebration of Bill Evans’s majestic élan, an intergenerational hat-tip to Richard Rogers, a romp through the brusque beauty of Art Blakey’s book, and an excursion into the world of Count Basie. Expect a fair amount of genuflection to be accompanied by oodles of craft.
