Alex Stupak’s Empellón Taqueria is serving lunch these days, and $17 will get you a bowl of soup (try the cool, intensely flavored cucumber, poured table-side), followed by two tacos. The fine lamb barbacoa comes with a hot, citrus-kissed salsa in a soft, sweet tortilla. This being a rather fancy taqueria, there’s a fork and knife at the table. But, don’t worry, no one’s bothered if you use your hands.
