A compelling argument for getting your poutine to go: Mile End layers the crisp fries, half-melted curds, and sweet, fatty hunks of Montreal-style smoked meat but keeps the thick gravy in a separate container. I know the dish is supposed to be a sort of perpetually congealing messy heap, but it’s satisfying to dip as you go along, too.
