The perennially bed-headed Lou Barlow will spend much of this fall on tour with Dinosaur Jr., who have a new studio album due next month. Before that, though, Barlow hits New York tonight for the final date of a brief East Coat tour with his proto-mumblecore trio, Sebadoh. The group—now with Barlow, Jason Loewenstein, and Bob D’Amico—just released a five-song EP through Bandcamp, their first new tunes since 1999’s The Sebadoh; a full-length is due next year. Expect a sneak preview here, along with opening sets by Barlow (doing his passive-aggressive solo act) and Loewenstein and D’Amico’s Circle of Buzzards.
