The theme was “turquoise and white” at the dinner party for the Geoffrey Bradfield-designed apartment in the window of BoConcept on West 18th Street and we turned it out till we were blue in the face.
Or till we saw blue in the face.
I felt underwater, but strangely afloat, loving the chance to finally fit into someone’s color scheme.
When I’m handed a theme memo, I go to town–or at least go to Chelsea–and this time I did it via the closest approximation of turquoise I could find in my closet, while punctuating it with whiteness in the form of the old Seinfeld shirt by way of Austin Powers’ worst nightmare.
