The restaurant veterans behind Fatty Crew Hospitality Group have partnered with Bravo’s Top Chef contestant Leah Cohen to open Pig and Khao. It’s Southeast Asian cuisine and the shared plates menu will pay homage to traditional Southeast Asian fare, such as pork and rice, infused with Thai and Filipino flavors. 68 Clinton Street.
Prospect, a restaurant and bar is opening today. Founded by two high school friends, Alan Cooper and Stephen Cohen, alongside Executive Chef Kyle McClelland, Prospect will show a range of American flavors and products. Menu items: consommé enhanced with pheasant broth and garnished with liquid black truffle tortellini, and pork jowl balanced with black garlic, baby leeks, and golden carrots. 773 Fulton Street.
Boudoir, located in the Flatiron District, will be the newest addition to New York City’s nightlife scene. The venue’s chic design showcases wood and copper finishes throughout the dramatically low-lit lounge. Boudoir will offer a menu of traditional cocktails along with a full bar featuring specialty cocktails and premium bottle service. It’s open Wednesday through Saturday, 10 pm to 4 am. 5 West 19th Street.

M. Wells Dinette opened at the MoMA PS 1 The café pays homage to the site’s original use as an elementary school and some dishes are served on old-school metal cafeteria trays.
