The novelist Jonathan Franzen has never written a play, but happily director Daniel Fish has done the job for him. For Transport Group, he’s adapted an essay describing how Franzen sells his family home into a five-person play. Oprah may not go, but you should as Daniel Fish’s plays prove that he’s a restlessly intelligent innovator.
