Attention, bachelorettes, birthday people, and karaoke queens!
Last night, the long running drag entertainment restaurant Lucky Cheng’s had a soft opening at their new locale, smack up where the tourists roam, at 240 W. 52nd Street.
The place looks good, with a slick bar as you enter (many Chinese lanterns hang to give you that Chengsy feeling).
And the main room is studded with glittery tables out of Kitchen Magic, brocaded throw pillows, and an ornately shiny red robe that is placed on a podium as if it were a god to pray to betwen lipsynch performances.
Far from its East Village past life, this new location can probably bring some realness to the tourists and some tourists to the realness.
Its Asian fusion can help clear up gender confusion while causing many a protrusion.
Cheers, big tits.
