The Museum of Modern Art will be more interactive today, meaning that art won’t just be hanging from the walls—rather it will be moving about as well. Some Sweet Day, which began October 15, is a three-week program of dance performances that pairs the work of six internationally renowned choreographers varying in age and ethnicity in order to create a dialogue about their differences and similarities. The paired choreographers include Steve Paxton, founding member of New York’s Judson Dance Theatre, and French conceptual choreographer Jérôme Bel; Judson Church founding member Deborah Hay and British choreographer Sarah Michelson; and—for today’s performances at 1 and 4, respectively—Congolese choreographer Faustin Linyekula and American experimentalist Dean Moss.

Mondays-Sundays, 10 a.m. Starts: Oct. 15. Continues through Nov. 4, 2012
