Say Goodbye to St. Jerome’s, Au Mandarin, Four Different Hooters

St. Jerome’s, the Rivington Street dive owned by Luc Carl, has closed as we know it. Carl sold the bar, and the lease will switch over after November 1. Bowery Boogie reports that the new owners are veterans of the East Village nightlife scene: Joshua Yerington and Matt Romano of Black and White and Niagara/ Cabin Down Below. [Bowery Boogie]

Au Mandarin was a financial district staple in Chinese for 24 years. Due to upcoming construction on the World Financial Center, the spot will close on Friday. The owners are looking for a new location, but there are no reopening plans just yet. [The Broadsheet]

Earl’s Court was also struck by the financial district shutter bug. The food court — and its website — is closed for renovations. No word as to when it will reopen. [Midtown Lunch]

Four different Hooters closed in Long Island and Queens last week. But fear not, wing enthusiasts. The midtown west locale is still hooting. [Gothamist]
