From Perry Ellis’s grunge-inspired looks to the linear-filled spring 2013 collection, American fashion designer Marc Jacobs has clothed our generation’s many trends from day one. Tonight’s “Fashion Icon” talk series with Fern Mallis continues with Jacobs, one of the most notable and eccentric (remember the see-through dress he wore to the Met Gala last year?) fashion designers of all time. From his days at Parsons to being the youngest designer to win a Council of Fashion Designers of America award for new fashion talent to his global luxury empire, Jacobs has lots to discuss. Due to the hurricane, this event has been postponed to January 9.
