One of our favorite things about the holidays is preparing for the holidays. And, apparently, we’re not alone. How To…Holiday!, presented by Edible Manhattan, is an evening of “tasty lectures” on pies, preserves, turkey, and much more. The bill includes a lesson from the folks at Rachel’s Pies on “How To Bake a Blue Ribbon Pie”; Kelly Geary (of Sweet Deliverance and co-author of Tart and Sweet: 101 Canning and Pickling Recipes for the Modern Kitchen) on “How To Preserve Like a Pro”; and the people at Fleisher’s Grass-fed and Organic Meats on “How To Roast the Perfect Turkey.” And, with all that talk of food, we’re glad to know the Kimchi Taco truck will be there to cure our cravings.
