Chuck Norris jokes may be a thing of the past, but the man, the myth, the legend himself spoke up against something so un-Chuck-worthy: holiday season weight gain. One of the main causes of caloric intake, according to Chuck? Eggnog.
In Chuck’s recent WND column, aptly named C-Force, he gives advice against holiday padding. To satisfy a sweet tooth, look for fruit. Take a long time to finish your meal. Chew your food twice as long.
Then he drops a giant holiday bomb: Avoid eggnog.
“Consider only drinking water or coffee after dinner,” he wrote, “and pass up the eggnog.” According to Chuck and the University of Rochester, one cup of eggnog has 343 calories. Or in Chuck Norris terms: “It takes 2,100 continual jumping jacks to burn off eight ounces of eggnog!”
In that case, start jumping and keep drinking, eggnog lovers.
