THE CHAMELEON

When Kristen Wiig left Saturday Night Live earlier this year, we were a bit crushed. But recently we’ve become quite attached to newcomer Kate McKinnon, whose impersonation of Chelsea Handler (as the Swedish host of Helga Lately) 
instantly had us hooked. Tonight, the comedic blonde returns to UCB, where she honed her improv chops, for 
Characters Welcome, the monthly showcase, hosted by Michael Hartney and Justin Tyler (at UCB’s East Village outpost), that brings together comedians to perform their favorite original characters and impressions. And, when it comes to impressions, McKinnon won’t be short on material.
