Coachella 2013 Lineup Announced

After countless rumors, false starts, and fakes, the ACTUAL, REAL DEAL, NO BULLSHIT Coachella Lineup has finally been announced. And, no, the Rolling Stones aren’t headlining. But you already knew that. So who is? These are your Coachella headliners: Stone Roses and Blur the first night, Phoenix the second night, and Red Hot Chili Peppers the third night.

So what do you think? There’s lots to like in there if you drill down far enough. Visions of a reunited Postal Service and the four Wu Tang members who actually show up wandering the camp grounds together are already swimming through our heads.

The festival takes place in Indio, California, over two weekends April 12-14 and April 19-21. Or, much sooner — but also much further away — than the recently announced Govenor’s Ball on Randall’s Island. (Kanye > RHCP, btw FTW LOL)

From the Coachella press release:

Festival passes for both weekends go on sale Tuesday, January 29th at 10 AM PST. Festival passes for Weekend 1 must be purchased with a shuttle pass or a car camping pass. New for 2013, the price you see is the price you pay — prices reflect all fees included. Layaway is no longer an option for either weekend. Please visit for complete info.
