Heartache can be a real bitch…especially during the holidays. Just ask Lady Han, a beautiful prostitute who pulled a Pretty Woman and fell head over heels for her client. Although Yoshida, her paying lover, is no Richard Gere, and instead drives Lady Han mad with loneliness when he leaves her. This “post-Christmas-nearly-Valentine’s-Day” production takes an American modern day approach to the 17th-century Japanese play by Zeami and is directed by Katherine Brook. The show features performances by Jessie Shelton, Andrew Dinwiddie, Brighid Greene, Nicolas Norena, among others, with live music composed by Taylor Brook.
Tuesdays-Sundays, 8 p.m. Starts: Feb. 8. Continues through Feb. 17, 2013
