Although by no means predictable, Beach Fossils offer exactly the kind of breezy lo-fi sound that their summery, somewhat mysterious name suggests. Formed in Brooklyn in 2009, the band started as Dustin Payseur’s solo recording project but subsequently cycled through a scattered line-up as they fine-tuned their carefree sound. Now touring in support of their second full-length album, Clash the Truth, expect a night of improv jazz-inspired jams with wistful choruses drifting along hooky guitar riffs.
