Cassoulet Festival at Back Forty West
Peter Hoffman will hold the annual Cassoulet Festival at Soho’s Back Forty West starting at 6:30 p.m. Alex Raij of Txikito, Mike Laarhoven of Back Forty, Shanna Pacifico of Back Forty West, Nick Anderer or Maialino, and Tom Mylan of the Meat Hook will create their versions of the French dish traditionally made with duck, pork, and beans. Seersucker’s Annual Fried Chicken Fundraiser

Beefsteak Dinner at Brass Monkey
Chef Daniel Parilla from Minetta Tavern will prepare whiskey-marinated meat at Brass Monkey as part of an old Meatpacking District tradition: a beefsteak dinner. The After Hours Kubbeh Project
Zucker Bakery in the East Village will host The After Hours Kubbeh Project, a pop-up restaurant serving Jewish-Iraqi food for three weeks beginning March 1. The menu is a $38 prix fixe featuring a stew of kubbeh — fried croquettes, here made of beet or pumpkin — a deconstructed version of the Israeli sandwich, sabich, and a special cocktail made with pomelo juice. 433 E. 9th St.

Long Island City’s Alewife will celebrate National Pig Day and New York Craft Brew Week with aPORKalypse Now, a pork and craft beer festival. New York City Beer Week Closing Night
New York City Beer week runs from February 22 to March 3 and features 12 NYC craft breweries. The closing party is on Sunday night at Eataly’s La Birreria.
