A longtime student of the late Pandit Ravi Shankar and Ustad Ali Akhbar Khan, sitarist Krishna Bhatt is a brilliant virtuoso of Hindustani music who blends the gayaki (vocal) and tantrakari (instrumental) styles. He has also appeared on crossover albums with saxophonist George Brooks and keyboardist-composer Terry Riley. Anindo Chatterjee is equally renowned for his impeccable tabla technique. Expect extreme raga conditions.
