Elbee Thrie–the 20-year-old songwriter/producer/leader/everything-er behind the sprawling Bed-Stuy hip-hop collective Phony Ppl–just dropped the video for “Nice To Meet Me,” and we’ve got the premiere after the jump.

The track comes from Thrie’s upcoming debut album, 53,000, out May 3rd, which follow’s Phony Ppl’s buzzy EP from last year, nothinG special.
“This album is almost embarrassingly personal,” Thrie says. “People are just now figuring us out. This album will reveal more of the story.”
