Suspicious Package That Shut Down Port Authority Turned Out to Be Garbage

The NYPD confirmed to the Voice that the police evacuation at Port Authority was over a man who “threw out” a suspicious package. “We deemed it to be garbage,” police told the Voice. The NYPD is no longer evacuating the bus terminal.
