Enildo Rasua

The Jazz Standard’s Cuban drum series continues with a master percussionist noted for his “third hand” technique involving a supplemental drumstick that comes in especially handy when he plays traps and congas simultaneously. A specialist in traditional rumba who’s also performed in Havana’s Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional, Rasua leads a band that includes Jay Rodriguez (saxophone), Ben Winkleman (piano), and Ricky Rodriguez (bass).
