In his new solo exhibition, “Urban
Zoom,” photographer David Molander turns perception on its head with a series of hyperrealist works that transform contemporary urban and social landscapes into out-of-this-world scenarios. In one image, a car accident appears to be just a construction site—or is it? In another, a multitude of stairways and highways look like something out of Inception. The exhibition also includes a site-specific photographic installation on the venue’s facade, while a large-scale image of the events related to the Occupy Wall Street movement covers the interior of the gallery.

Mondays-Sundays, 10 a.m. Starts: Aug. 2. Continues through Aug. 30, 2013
