School is just around the corner–are you saving up for supplies? That’s as good an excuse as any to drink cheaply at one of this city’s happy hours. Here are three we’d hit this week.
Spring Lounge, 48 Spring Street
From 5 to 7 p.m., patrons of the place locals call the “the shark bar” receive $1 off all drafts and well drinks. And while it’s known for its prime people watching and diverse drink selection–craft beer comes on draft, in bottle, and in cans here–there’s also something special to eat on Wednesday: free hot dogs starting at 5 p.m. until they run out.
Lincoln Park, 867 Ninth Avenue
$3 PBR, Bud, and Bud Light draft are three decent reasons to check out this Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood spot any time of the day. Add in $4 well drinks and house wine– not to mention $6 food specials–and you have better reason to visit between 5 and 7 p.m. If you’re looking for something to share, opt for the Wednesday night special: $10 pitchers of Bud and Bud Light from 7 p.m. to midnight.
Corcho Wine Room, 231 Dykman Street
The only thing better than happy hour? Extended happy hour! From 4 to 8 p.m., $7 glasses of wine, sangria, and mimosas accompany dine-in specials like $7 burgers, pizzattas, and chicken pesto wraps. There’s also $3 and $4 beer specials along with live music for those who wish to stay late.
