The Apple Family Plays: Scenes From Life in the Country

Apple picking is a common fall entertainment, but you’d be hard-pressed to find a tarter, sweeter crop than offered by Richard Nelson in his Apple Family cycle. The Public Theater revives the three early plays, the better to harmonize with the latest and final drama about the upstate clan, Regular Singing.
