The music of Daniel Lopatin, the Brooklyn-based electronicist who records as Oneohtrix Point Never, is as elegantly designed and tragically fractured as the screen of a dropped iPhone. Accompanied by Nate Boyce’s disorienting visuals, Lopatin has been performing music from R Plus Seven, which solidifies his reputation as a preeminent stylist of twitchy, unresolved, post-singularity swing.
