No Need To Wait

For fans of Harold Pinter, this fall on Broadway couldn’t be any more enticing. First there was Mike Nichols’s production of Betrayal with Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz; now Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart lead the cast in No Man’s Land, which concerns a meeting between two writers who may or may not know each other. And as if seeing these two distinguished actors in one play wasn’t good enough, McKellen and Stewart are reprising their roles from a London production of Samuel Beckett’s Waiting for Godot, which runs in repertory. Billy Crudup and Shuler Hensley also star. Sean Mathias directs. Through March 2, Cort Theatre, 138 West 48th Street,, $40–$137
