KNOCK OUT

by

It’s not often you get to see two talented local boys fighting for the title King of Brooklyn. That’s the main event at Barclays when Brownsville’s Zab “Super” Judah takes on Bensonhurst native son Paulie “The Magic Man” Malignaggi. The co-main event is another excellent bout, with interim title holder Erislandy Lara battling former champ Austin “No Doubt” Trout for the WBA Super Welterweight titles. And, of course, there will be a number of undercard matches worth going early for. Tickets start around $40 and go over $200 to see every punch. However, half the fun is just being there. The Brooklyn crowd for both factions should be insane, and you can get a feeling for what A.J. Liebling famously called “The Sweet Science.”
