For this week’s review, Hannah Palmer Egan checked in on Toro (85 Tenth Avenue, 212-691-2360), the vibrant tapas eatery Boston powerhouses Ken Oringer and Jamie Bissonette planted near Chelsea Market earlier this year. “The dining room quivers with the electricity of a place where life is happening,” she writes. “Via phone, Oringer says he’s after the energy of Barcelona, but the space reads Chelsea, 2013: sleek, high-ceilinged, a bit raw, and packed with a horde of downtown sophisticates.” She goes on to detail the innovative menu, a dynamic list of 60 dishes.
Here, photographer Bradley Hawks takes us on a visual romp through Toro’s food. Ogle his images, and then go read Egan’s full review.
